Infection control specialist NewGenn Research Ltd is the first company in the world to receive full Halal accreditation for its range of hygiene products. Following an extensive audit, the UK Halal Corporation has certified the companys products to be Halal under Sharia Law. NewGenn products, which are alcohol free and free of ingredients of animal origin, can now be used safely by Muslims, who are concerned about infection control but want to comply with Sharia Law.

NewGenn Research, based in Suffolk, creates and supplies infection control products, which protect against dangerous bacteria, including MRSA, Pseudomonas, E. coli and Clostridium difficile in humans and Parvo virus and Calici virus in animals. Uniquely, NewGenn products, which are water based and derived from plant oils, also protect against the Noro Virus, which has been responsible for recent virulent outbreaks of vomiting on cruise ships.

NewGenn products are already being used to break infection cycles in hospitals, nursing homes and medical practices, as well as in veterinary practices and charity organisations, such as the RSPCA, Cats Protection and Wood Green Animal Shelters. They are also used throughout industries where hygiene is a concern, especially food production, from large factories to individual butchers shops.

NewGenn also offers a range of products for home hygiene and family use. The products are both highly effective and pleasant to use. The lack of alcohol means that they do not damage skin and leave hands feeling smooth and silky.
