NewGenn Opens in Saudi Arabia

NewGenn Research of Suffolk has expanded its Gulf region operations by appointing a Saudi manufacturer distributor. NewGenn design and manufacture cleaning and hygiene products with multi industry applications and have an enviable record for breaking infection cycles. Dr Harley Farmer, the Chairman and Technical Director, said Just killing the bugs is easy any disinfectant does that. Breaking infection cycles takes something more. The appalling loss of life around the world from infections that dont need to occur shows the existing products fail too many people. We offer new products but augment them with a new prevention philosophy, and it is the combination that provides the unique solutions which break infection cycles.

Dr Farmer visited Madinah last week to complete negotiations with Mr Saleh Al Amoudi, sign an exclusive agreement and take a substantial first order. The Al Amoudi Establishment for Trade will manufacture the products in Saudi Arabia from concentrates made in Britain. Local manufacture makes them Saudi products which will ease sales to end users and sub distributors throughout the Kingdom.

All the NewGenn products are Halal Accredited which opens unique opportunities in KSA. Discussions are now underway to establish whether the technology meets the modern needs of those managing the Holy Mosques in Mecca and Madinah. If so NewGenn technology will, INSHAALAH, be used to clean those mosques and help prevent the spread of infections during Hajj and other pilgrimages.

Dr Farmer was part of a UKTI backed Middle East Association trade mission. He said If anyone is contemplating the Saudi market I strongly recommend these missions. Invaluable support comes from both the official DTI teams and also fellow mission members. I anticipate returning in 4-6 weeks to build on new contacts in the hospital, military, food manufacturing, poultry, dairy and equine sectors.
